Happy many years ahead of us

Through the years, some things just do not change. Like the way you tap your fingers while you sing a song; like how you play with your beard when you try to focus and think; and like how you always buy me that Hershey’s Chocolate bar every time you go to 711.

It’s amazing how you still manage to listen even to my overly repeated stories. And without fail, you always provide me with the warmth I need during rainy days. Perhaps, it could be scary at times knowing you know me too well. You know when I’m tired, irritable, and when I’m hungry. A man who could spell the difference between those seemingly similar sentiments is a keeper!

Life is indeed fun and exciting knowing you’ll always be my partner in everything. As you continue with your internship, just hang in there my love. After all, it only gets better and sweeter, my Hana.

Lesson learned

Amazing thing about teaching kids at church is that I become the no. 1 student.

There’s this sudden compelling force to read the passage and know the story very well; a venue to memorize one verse a week! and of course an instance where I can fully apply what I usually teach them– saying thanks and sorry whenever you have to.

Right now, I just moved in to a new apartment. And this is my favorite corner, where I usually have my thoughts gathered make probably life changing decisions! (That is, to do laundry now or later? Ha ha ha) while eating grapes.

Exciting Stories, Project Thankful

Christmas Presents

Today, I wanted to talk about the gifts my brother and I gave mom, dad and lola for Christmas. I bought these pens before I left for Christmas break and had their names engraved on the pens.

Wrapping them was not so hard. I tried to be classy but cheap at the same time so I settled for ribbons.

I was debating on giving them books or these pens but I thought mom would not enjoy getting something that must be done (or read). And I recalled she’s having this weird feeling of collecting pens. So giving her one with her name on it would probably be a better present. I am glad she liked it. 🙂

Gift giving is not that practiced in my family. But this Christmas, I wanted to give them something to show them that I am really grateful for them. 🙂

My Enchanting Experience (at Enchanted River)

Yesterday, my family and some of mom’s office mates decided to go to Enchanted River. It’s almost a 3-hour ride from my place so there were many  songs played on my playlist. Today, I am super grateful for the opportunity to see one of God’s gazillion masterpieces. Finally, after a long long time, I have come to witness it’s enchanting ambiance for myself!Image

It was a very long travel but the view was superb! I never missed coconut views like this before. If you’re a pro in photo-taking, sorry for my shots. I am in a moving vehicle plus I am the great auto-bot. He he he

So finally, after 3 long hours of travel we came to see for ourselves this truly enchanting river! 🙂 I guess no amount of mall tours can match up with this view!!! 😀

This is me, the excited version.

This is me after, the most excited version.

My family, especially my little brother had a very wonderful and enchanting time at the Enchanted River. The water was so clear enough for us to see what’s at the bottom. But I have heard no body has ever reached the bottom yet, so far. Thus, truly enchanting.

Plus, if you have goggles or snorkels, you can see lots and lots of fish underneath swimming and enjoying the cold water with you. Their sizes and colors are amazing! The next time I come and visit this place, I hope I can bring with me an underwater camera.

 I love this next photo. Mom was so busy with the camera so little brother swam fast to me and hugged me tight. He then told mom to take a photo of us. Awe! Brothers, they’re as wonderful as this river.

Thank You Lord for this experience.

I know You have allowed things to happen. I may not understand this now, but You are looking at the big picture. In You I put my trust.

Few Treasures I have

Some people treasure fame, some treasure their power, some their success, others, their selves. But I tell you, I have these few resources of mine, I call treasures, and I wont trade them for some dash of spotlight, nor for some beauty. These treasures, as I call them, are God-given and they are truly blessings from above.

My happy and loving parents plus my cutie little baby brother;

My ever sweet lola and tita;

My ice-cream uncle, mommy, and tita;

My all time favorite kisser–lola!

And my ever “I-love-you-so-much” boy 🙂

These magical people are not like Disney’s princesses or chick-flick’s leading men. They are more to the world’s joy and fun. And I am never gonna trade any of them with anything! EVER. 🙂
